Degbon Appolinaire GOUMOU is a Geological Engineer, graduated from the Institut Supérieur des Mines et Géologie de Boké, whose career spans the full mining value chain in Guinea. He served as Exploration and Resource Geologist at Nordgold · one of West Africa's leading gold producers · then led logistics and data analysis at Translog. He subsequently worked as Exploration and Mine Geologist at Hummingbird Resources, the London-listed gold mining operator, and as Mine Geologist at Mansa Resources.

Guinea is among the most mineral-rich countries on earth. Yet the economic value of these resources too often leaves the territory before benefiting those who live on this land. G-CORE Group is my response to that imbalance. Not a theoretical response · an operational one, built on direct field experience in Guinea's mining sector, from exploration geology through to logistics operations. Our ambition is not simply to build a successful group. It is to demonstrate that African entrepreneurship, grounded in technical expertise and institutional rigour, can produce economic actors whose credibility is recognised internationally.
